I'm looking for a technical co-founder for a text-to-speech product that is focused on the news ecosystem. In brief, the idea is to automatically generate a podcast-quality audio companion for published articles that can support advertisements.

Is my english teacher right?

I'm German. We just had 'globish' as our subject in english class. It's a version of the english language with only 1k words, so that it is easy to learn and understand by everyone. i was raised christian. now i’m questioning my faith, so i want to hear the other side’s perspective. why are you an atheist?

title. any responses would be much appreciated because i want to see some actual atheists say why they believe what they believe instead of hearing christians explain why atheists are aesthetic.

i’m not asking to be convinced, but i am curious to hear about the pros of atheism. i’ve only ever been taught to view atheism from a negative light, so show me the positives.

How do people live on 50k a year?

I’m 21 and recently got my first real job I would say a few months ago that pays me about 50k a year. My take home is around 2800.

I live at home, debt free, no rent and only have to pay my car insurance, phone bill and a few other stuff each month. I was thinking of moving out before going over the numbers for rent and expenses. But i determined with rent Plus my current expenses I’d have almost zero income left over every month. Even just living at home my paycheque doesn’t last me very.

So how do people with kids, houses and cars afford to do so on this budget it just doesn’t seem possible. I believe the average income is around 60k but even with that amount I don’t see show people make it work without falling behind.
