I am disabling DoorDash from my restaurant
As a business owner and a manager I literally have to disable DoorDash from my restaurant. Because as it is, I have to call into DoorDash every day or every other day. And band between one and five DoorDashers. And I applaud all the good DoorDashers who come in and kindly take a seat and wait for their name to be called. Or the name on their order. But it’s the 99% that really pissed me off. They come in and they don’t speak a lick of English except for how long from my order. They throw their phone in my Employeee’s faces. Even when they are currently dealing with other customers ordering their food. And then they stand their blocking the terminal where guests come in and pay for their food and now it is my part-time job to stand by the cash register and protect my employees from being harassed. Not only do they just throw their phone in my employee’s faces they stand there and then stare at my employees. And then when I tell them to take a seat away from the cash register, they get furious and demand their food that is not ready. And then when an order does come up and I call a name five people get up and then show me their phone and the name that I called doesn’t match anyone’s phone. And then there’s one person who walks up after all of them and says hi im _____ I think I heard my name called. And then I hand them their food and then they go away. And then the second they go away every single DoorDash or runs up to me and says how long for my order. And then I tell them to sit back down and then they get angry again. At this point, I have a list and pictures of 80 DoorDashers that are not allowed in the building. And every day that number gets larger. So at this point, I’m just disabling it. Either that or I’m gonna make it for pick up only no delivery. Because this shit is insane and that needs to stop.

AIO because my boyfriend wanted me to change before the gym over a color?
 | Yesterday my boyfriend and I were about to leave for the gym together. I threw on a blue workout top with black shorts, something simple and comfortable that I've worn a bunch of times before with zero issues. Right as we were walking out the door, he stopped and said the color of the top looked "kind of weird" and that people were gonna stare at me if I wore it. He asked me to go change into something more "normal" before we left. I was kind of caught off guard honestly. It's just a blue top, nothing flashy, nothing revealing. I actually liked how it looked on me and felt comfortable in it, which is kind of the whole point of gym clothes. I don't mind if he has opinions on my outfits every now and then, that's a normal couple thing. But this felt less like "hey I think this color doesn't suit you" and more like he was worried about how other people at the gym would perceive me, and wanted me to change based on that. It just didn't sit right with me. I ended up just going along with it because I didn't want to start an argument right before working out, but I've been thinking about it since. Hi C.J. here, I made a free app that does on device translation using Gemma Translate 4B AI model repackaged for iOS. This allows for after model download, private offline translation locally on your iOS device.
I made this app after trying to talk to my neighbor and service not being great at the bus stop where I drop off my daughter. I have tried to make the app UX easy to use and I really like the default view where the translations appear flipped on each side so you can hold the phone in the middle and each person has a side of the phone.
