LPT: California law states that people must be able to cancel subscriptions online so simply download a VPN and set the location to a city in California to avoid having to call to cancel a subscription.

Edit: I only tested this with an online course that had a free trail but wanted to charge me for $60 in course materials. I did not have to enter in my address so they have no way of knowing my actual location.
