AITA for purposely keeping insanely spicy candy in my bag?

I'm in highschool for context.

Everyone at my school is beyond entitled when it comes to food. I've had literal random strangers stick their hands directly into my packet of food to grab a piece without asking. If you're eating something, people will literally go as far as to grab the item you're eating out of your hand. This is only the case with "good food".

I've gotten a reputation in my friendship group for throwing away anything someone else touches. I don't like people walking over my food, let alone physically touching it. People used to assume I would give them the food once deemed inedible, so they stopped trying to tamper with it. Instead, they've resorted to literally going through my bag and taking it. I decided to order some insanely spicy nerds and put them in an already finished package of nerds.

I left my bag with my friends and "went to the bathroom". Like planned, one of my friends bursts through the door screaming for me. I come out of one of the stalls and tell her "don't steal my fucking food then" and walk back down to the classroom. She was livid and everyone is taking her side because "it was a cruel joke and you spent money to hurt her". According to my friends she's unable to eat most things because her tastebuds are so sensitive (this happened several days ago) and I need to apologize.

I refuse because she wouldn't have eaten them if she hadn't of taken them directly from my bag. I feel mildly like a dick though because she can't handle any spice whatsoever.
