META: r/Unitedkingdom is regularly cited as the worst national sub on Reddit. Why is this, and how can this be changed?

The Mods have permanently banned me peace out fam. ✌️

———-

I’ve seen threads across reddit, and even other websites which call out what a negative, horrible place this sub is.

It’s always the same “impending doom” political articles from publications which themselves are unrelentingly negative.

Why is this the case, and how can it be changed?

EDIT: 41 comments, negative karma. Says it all really doesn’t it.

EDIT 2: I think I’ve had about 100 comments where I get a notification, but I can’t read the comment. Is this because these comments are being censored by automod? This directly silences and pushes away new contributors to the sub, reducing its quality and creating an echo chamber. Many of these comments are insightful, and contain useful suggestions.
