We humans recognize that there are things like 'known unknowns' and 'unknown unknowns', especially in the way science works.
I'm curious if animals also have this cognitive capacity? For instance, during animal-human interactions, would an animal (e.g., like a dog) have the capacity to recognize that humans are speaking some language and that they'll never be able to understand it? And more broadly, would that dog have the capacity to think/question that there are things around them (e.g., like the sky and space) but it's hard for them to understand? Any zoologists or animal specialists out there?
