Throwaway account for obvious reasons.
So, a little background. I'm 18/f and a freshman at a local community college. One of the classes I have is with an incredibly attractive professor fresh out of grad school. Not sure exactly how old he is but he isn't more than 30. He's also one of the best teachers I've ever had in my life, probably because he's not disillusioned by his job yet and still really enjoys it.
Anyways.
Apparently we have mutual friends because last night I ran into him at a house party just out of town. I'd had a few and had a good buzz going, but he was definitely wasted. Somehow we got into a fake argument about who had a better butt and the next thing I knew, we were in a room together and I was kissing him.
I know that at the time he was into it, but after a few minutes he made an excuse and noped out of there. I know it was a mistake on both of our parts, but now I have to figure out what to do when I see him in class on Monday. I don't want him to think I'm some kind of obsessed student if I show up at his office hours for help either. I figure I should just pretend that it didn't happen but am worried he's going to treat me differently because of what happened.
Wondering if anybody else has been in a similar situation and has any advice regarding what I should do. Obviously can't really talk to my friends about this, and the last thing I want to do is anything that might put his job in jeopardy.
TL,DR: I got drunk at a party with my college professor and ended up making out with him. I have to face him in class on Monday morning and have no idea what I'm going to do.
EDIT: I've spent 3 hours reading these comments and holy crap I have a lot to think about. Will definitely update after class tomorrow. Thank you all for your help.
