Sharding sucks, new animations suck, energy regeneration problems suck etc. But I feel like their philosophy on what changes they make is very reasonable (I especially like their approach to addons!) and it seems like they do understand what's important about Vanilla.
I was shocked at the state of the demo yesterday and was about to completely abandon WoW Classic, but the panel today has made me hopeful that some of those devs do understand what we actually want out of classic. I don't know if putting faith into them is naive, but I'm feeling a little bit more confident.
