I’ll spare you the details but it was a toxic environment and 2 times I went to my dr bc I didn’t know why my chest was hurting and muscles under my chin in my neck were spasming. It wasn’t fun. The last straw was last week Friday- driving into work and suddenly I started worrying about work, then the left side of my neck cramped up and it was painful and I worried more- started getting teary eyed bc I was so worried and scared bc I didn’t wanna possibly crash. I turned back around and went to my doc. Essentially doc said it’s stress related. Put me on some meds which helped, but long term solution was, I had to get out of this gig. Finally yesterday told my boss I was quitting and she was upset, didn’t care about my health. I woke up today- got some yummy breakfast and coffee. Cleaning the house and I’m happy and not worried. Later today I’m going to dinner w my buddies. I feel like a normal person again. Enjoy your life and your loved ones!
Didn’t think I’d get so many supportive ppl. Thank you kind friends. Looking for a new job can be scary but I’d rather deal w this, than daily stress. Have a good weekend everyone! And remember to be kind to yourself and others! Peace! :)
