Ask HN: Best RSS feeds with good/full content included?

I'm building a site (https://public.do/) which allows people to annotate publicly available information. One of the things I want to do is add RSS feeds.

Certain feeds like those from Quanta do provide almost the full content you get from the article itself on their site.

https://ift.tt/3l44vIF

You get pretty much all the content (sadly missing the incredible images).

Other public information, like that from Science Mag, has almost nothing but headlines (at least from the ones I've reviewed).

https://ift.tt/3aSJn4E

I'm reading things from ScienceMag and having trouble retaining it, so I want to track information as anki cards, but they don't really provide the information there other than a headline and a summary.

What RSS feeds are out there that contain "good and complete content" and don't require you to head over to their site to read the entirety?

I can understand why a commercial service would only provide headlines as a teaser, but surely there are good publicly produced RSS feeds that have rich information (and want to syndicate it as widely as possible)?

Jamwerks Open Beta: High Fidelity, Low Latency, Collaborative Music

Some good friends of mine just launched an open beta of their upcoming software project, called Jamwerks Lola, that makes it easy to collaborate with other musicians over the internet. It's also fantastic for group audio calls. While latency can still be an issue, this is much better than the experience I get with Zoom and my drum instructor. Mac-only for now, but PC coming soon.

Ask HN: Favorite tools for building an aesthetic UI for a side project/MVP?

I've historically been more of a backend developer and my knack for building good looking UI's is just not there. I've read up on the basics of UI design and tried building out UI's using React + CSS, but it ends up being so time consuming for something that looks mediocre.

What are your favorite UI library or no/low code tool for building a good looking UI for side projects?

Four Catholic women are sitting in a cafe sipping their tea, talking about their great sons. Soon it begins as a contest to see who has the best son.

The first woman proudly declares, "My son is a priest. When he

walks into a room people call him

'Father."

The second woman replies even more proudly, "My son is a bishop, when he walks into a room people call him 'My Grace."

The third woman thinking she wins replies, "My son is a Cardinal! When he walks into a room people say, 'My Eminence."

The fourth woman says nothing but sips her tea quietly.

The three women stare at her and then ask her what is so special about her son.

With a smug look on her face she replies, "My son is a 6' 5" muscular man, with a chiseled jaw and arms as big as pipes. And when he walks into a room all the woman say, 'Oh My God."

There was a little boy who had just learned to count on his fingers.

One day his uncle came to visit and the boy was anxious to show off his newly acquired skill. He told the uncle to ask him an addition question. So the uncle asked, "What is three plus four?" The little boy counts it out on his fingers and said, "Seven." The uncle said, "Listen kid, you can't count it out on your hands because someday when you are in school, a teacher will get mad at you for it. Now put your hands in your pockets." So the little boy put his hands in his pockets and his uncle asked, "What is five plus five?"

The boy said, "Eleven."

How are US companies allowed to req. phone numbers?

How are US companies allwoed to req. phone numbers? Such as Facebook and Twitter and Instagram for registration? Doesn't this violate anti-discrimination laws because the poor and disabled are disproportionally affected, who may be unable to either get a phone or afford one. There are people who even have a lot of money who either find getting a phone difficult or unable to get one. I am surprised there have been zero lawsuits or legal cases regarding this.

How to physically manage several yubikeys (as a user)?

I have original yubikeys, nanos, bluetooth, and usb-c keys. I currently keep them in a pencil case along with all my dongles, and I usually have to guess which one goes to what. Key labels? Sure, except I also tend to leave one in each laptop ... N organizations => N VPNs => N yubikeys, plus M personal accounts, plus not everything has transitioned from USB-A to USB-C, so in some cases I have more than one for an org. /sigh.

Any suggestions? Google Shopping, Amazon, and Yubico are not terribly helpful here.
